26 Monticello was a whole house remodel.  The house interior was taken "down to the studs" and rebuilt with all new surfaces - hardwood and tile floors, custom cabinets and hardware, granite and tile countertops, appliances, fixtures, windows, solid core doors, recessed lighting and light fixtures, cedar deck, skylights, etc.  The kitchen was expanded and opened up to the dining room, and a new fireplace was added to the living room.

The front entry was completely refaced.  An enclosed planter was created
along the side of the house, a water feature was added next to the
front porch, and the front porch was covered with flagstone.
The original doors were covered and reused.

The main entry hall was covered with travertine.  We added a curve in the
step down to the living room, and built a fireplace from the
same stone as the driveway planter and entry porch.

We replaced the wall separating the kitchen and dining room with a long "J" shaped island with a 2nd "prep" sink.  The island cabinets are higher on the dining room side, hiding the kitchen countertop.  We added a garden window behind the main sink.  The kitchen countertops were finished with Silestone granite and a custom backsplash to match the Travertine floor.  A skylight brightened the room considerably.

The kitchen and family room floors were finished in Brazilian Cherry.  A wet bar was created off the family room - convenient to both the kitchen and dining rooms. The fireplace in the family room was re-grouted for a more contemporary look.

The 950 square foot master bedroom suite was created out of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  One bedroom became a walk in closet, and one bedroom became the room with the Whirlpool tub and 2 vanity cabinets.  One bathroom became the double shower.  The other bathroom became the toilet room and additional space for the master bedroom.

Downstairs, we refaced the wet bar in the party room and turned a
storage room into a wine cellar.

Finally, we did extensive landscaping around the whole property.
We added a 2nd water feature in the back yard, flagstone walkways
on both ends of the house, and new landscape lighting throughout.
